Welcome to the Dallas Sons of Hermann. The Sons of Hermann
is a not-for-profit Fraternal Life Insurance company, also referred to as
a Fraternal Benefit Society. We hope you will join our family and
become involved in some of our many events, groups, and committees.
Here are a few of the many benefits of being a member of our family.
About the Hall
The Sons of Hermann Hall is open to members and the public every
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from about 5:00 pm until about
midnight (1:00 am on Saturday), and occasionally on other nights for
special events.
Weekly activities at the Hall include a SWING
DANCE every Wednesday, with lessons from 9:00-10:00 pm and DJ until
midnight, and an ACOUSTIC JAM every Thursday open to all acoustic pickers,
singers, and listeners from 7:00-midnight.
There is usually LIVE MUSIC in the Upstairs Ballroom on Friday and
Saturday nights, though sometimes it is closed for a private party.
Even then, the downstairs bar is open for Friendship, Love &
Loyalty. Sons of Hermann members can RENT THE HALL at a discount.
The Home Association hosts FIRST FRIDAY HAPPY HOUR on the first Friday
of each month. Members receive complimentary keg beer, $1 bottled
beer or wine and $1 pizza slices. Every Friday from 5-7 pm we have
$1 beer for members. Lodge 22 hosts BUNCO every other Saturday at
2:00 pm at the Hall, except during the summer.
Some of our annual events include the SUPER BOWL PARTY in January, the
PICNIC in June, the FALL FESTIVAL in November, and the CHRISTMAS PARTY in
December.
ADVANCE CONCERT SEATING is available to all members. If you have
a ticket OR if tickets are still available and you pay cash at the door,
you and ONE guest can enter the ballroom before the public. Just be
at the hall before doors open and let the bartenders know you want to go
up early.
